We endeavor to reduce environmental causes of humanitarian disaster and crisis and minimize the consequences and negative impact of such catastrophe.
We acknowledge that the deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water and soil; the destruction of ecosystems; habitat destruction; the extinction of wildlife; and pollution are the major causes of humanitarian disaster and crisis. There is therefore the necessity to design execute programmes aimed at combating environmental degradation.
